About us

Our growing consulting and development team is based in Baden-Württemberg. We implement Odoo for mid-sized businesses, often replacing Dynamics, Lexware or Excel. For their staff, that means changes such as less manual entry in accounting and sales enquiries they can reliably track.

Your work reduces repetitive manual tasks for our clients and within Ruetech.

Odoo Project Lead (m/f/d)

Freiburg / Remote (Germany) · Full-time

You lead Odoo implementations and migrations for mid-sized businesses and company groups, taking responsibility for schedules and budgets from initial planning to acceptance.

Responsibilities and profile

Your responsibilities

Lead Odoo implementations and migrations from the preliminary analysis to go-live
Create the project plan and keep it current throughout the project
Prepare and chair the steering committee meetings and record their decisions
Steer milestones and acceptance tests together with the client's project lead
Run the change request procedure and the risk register, and produce regular status reports
Coordinate consulting and development, and assign responsibilities and deputies
Own schedule and budget adherence and report deviations to management early

Your profile

German at native level (C2) — our working and customer language
English at B2 level or higher
Several years of experience leading ERP projects or comparable software projects
A methodical way of working, in particular with specifications, acceptance tests and change procedures
Clear, reliable communication with management, business departments and IT leadership
Willingness to travel to clients in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Odoo Functional Consultant (m/f/d)

You review clients’ processes and configure Odoo as closely as possible to the standard software. Your role runs from requirements workshops through to acceptance.

Your responsibilities

Run requirements workshops with our clients' business departments
Match every requirement against the Odoo standard and classify it: standard, configuration or development
Configure Odoo for sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing or financial accounting
Write the specification and agree it with the client
Train the client's key users
Prepare and support testing and lead the project to acceptance
Document configuration and processes in a traceable way

Your profile

German at native level (C2) — our working and customer language
English at B2 level or higher
Experience with Odoo or another ERP system as a consultant or key user
Process understanding in trade, manufacturing or financial accounting
Careful, traceable documentation
An Odoo certification is an advantage

Odoo Consultant Finance & Accounting (m/f/d)

Freiburg / Remote (Germany) · Full-time

You configure Odoo accounting for mid-sized businesses and company groups. Working with their tax advisers, you cover SKR03/04, tax mapping, DATEV export, e-invoicing (XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, Peppol) and GoBD-compliant archiving. Group projects also involve multiple legal entities and consolidation.

Your responsibilities

Gather requirements together with the client's head of finance and tax advisor
Configure charts of accounts, taxes, payment runs and dunning
Set up the DATEV interface and e-invoicing
Migrate balances and open items from the legacy system and reconcile them with accounting
Support month-end and year-end closings in Odoo
Train key users in accounting and controlling
Document the setup in a traceable way, including as a basis for the GoBD process documentation

Your profile

German at native level (C2) — our working and customer language
English at B2 level or higher
Vocational training or a degree focused on accounting, e.g. certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter/in), Steuerfachwirt/in or business administration
Several years of practice in financial accounting or controlling
Experience with an ERP or accounting system, e.g. Odoo, DATEV, Sage or Dynamics
Solid knowledge of German commercial law (HGB) and VAT

Expand the relationship: support packages, extensions and roll-outs to further companies and sites
Steer quotes together with consulting and management through to the order
Maintain references and obtain client approval for case studies and reference calls
Work with Odoo's account management
Own client satisfaction and contract renewals

Several years of experience in sales or account management for B2B software or consulting services

You work with prospective clients from the first conversation through specification to contract. During delivery, you support the project manager with planning, coordination and schedules.

Your responsibilities

Qualify incoming enquiries from new customers and partners
Run first calls and requirements workshops, prepare and present demos
Accompany clients from the first enquiry through the specification to contract signature
Facilitate workshops on requirements and project scope
Prepare and present quotes and presentations for customers
Hold meetings by video, on site at the client or in our office
Support project leadership in planning, steering and on-time delivery

Your profile

German at native level (C2) — our working and customer language
English at C1 level or higher
University degree in business informatics, business administration or a comparable field
Initial experience (0–2 years) in project management, consulting or with business software
Independent, results-oriented way of working
A practical approach: tackling problems yourself and putting solutions into practice
Confident in conversations and presentations
Interest in business software and enjoyment of working in a team
