How a request works
Send your request by email, or by phone under the Premium plan. We respond within the agreed timeframe. Small changes use your included hours; larger work is quoted separately before it begins.
Version upgrades
For each new Odoo major version, we test your customisations in a separate environment. Your team checks its normal processes there and signs them off before the upgrade proceeds.
Operations and data protection
You decide where your data will be stored before signing the contract. We support all three of the following hosting arrangements.
| Odoo.sh (the vendor's hosting) | German hosting provider | Your own servers | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data location | EU region in Belgium | Data centre in Germany | Your data centre |
| Backup location | France, the Netherlands and Sweden, not selectable | as agreed with the hosting provider | per your backup concept |
| Platform operation | Odoo SA | hosting provider; we look after the database | your IT or us, as agreed |
| Fits if | standard hosting is enough and backups may be kept in the EU | data and backups must stay in Germany | your IT requires your own servers |
The quote identifies the hosting provider, data-centre location and certification.
- Data processing: A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is available on request.
- Backup and restore: We agree backup interval and restore time with your IT before go-live and record them in the operations concept.
- NIS2: If your company falls under the German NIS2 implementation act, we answer your supplier questionnaire on operations, access and backups.
Management can decide on data location early. Finance can review hosting, licences and project work as separate cost items. The operations plan records how access, backups and updates are handled.
Who answers you
You work with a dedicated support team familiar with your system, a named contact and deputy, and a direct escalation route to management. We have supported Rauschenberger’s day-to-day operations since July 2026.
